Hum is a hill above Laško. It is easily accessible and doesn't demand any special equipment or mountaineering knowledge.

 

Drive to Laško a well known spa and brewery and cross the main bridge. When you're on the other side, follow the signs for the castle as we start from there. 

 

Once you've parked your car follow the path into the forest. There are no blazes but then again you don't really need them as the path is pretty wide from here to the top. Just follow it. 

 

A few views open now and then. Just beyond the top there's a huge cross that you can see from the main road. Follow the trail past the cross and your on top. Nice view opens.

 

Head back by the same path.
