This is basically a stroll and true nature lovers won't enjoy it. Starting point is in Gotovlje, a settlement near Žalec. You can park the car at the restaurant Novak. Then head North and cross the bridge. You will see the sign Sv. Jedrt: 2 km. And this is basically it.

 

Follow the road under the highway then slightly up through the forest and after a while under the electircity lines. Once pass the lines you will reach the settlement of Sv. Jedrt in 10 minutes.

 

At the sign there are two possibilities. You can either get to the church by crossing the meadow or follow the left road as we did. At the sign for Lovski dom Rinka turn right and then right again by the fence. In few minutes you will reach the church. You can sit and rest and enjoy the view that is really magnificent considering that you're only at the 363 m above the sea.

 

 

Once you've had enough use the meadow path so you won't return by the same way. Once you've reached the road follow it back to the car. The whole walk will take an hour and a half.
