Starting point of this short but very interesting hike is the same as the one for Mrzlica . It will take you some 45 minutes (don’t believe the sign) of forest hiking and crawling over the rocks.

At first the trail is gentle but soon becomes really steep. It goes through the thick forest and you are most likely to come across a chamois or some other forest animal.

The closer to the top you get the rockier the path becomes. At some points you will have to use your hands and “crawl” on all fours, but far from demanding. Nevertheless consider leaving your hiking poles in your car as they might be in your way at some points.

On top there’s a beautiful bivouac. Kamnik is a good place for beginners to come acquainted with the rocks.
