On a highway Ljubljana – Maribor exit for Dramlje and drive in the Šentjur direction. Once there you will come accross a light stop and the only big crossroad in Šentjur. Drive straight ahead under the railway and turn right at the sign Resevna. Drive through Hruševec for a while until you will reach a macadam road. Park on at a small parking lot when you see the sign for Resevna directing you into the forest.

The path goes through a thick forest that offers good shade in summer. After aprox. half an hour you will get to the macadam road where you need to turn left. Pass the partisan monument and after 10 minutes you will reach the mountain hut on Resevna. It is only open on weekends.

Just behind the hut there's a watchtower that offers a spectacular view so make sure you climb it.

All in all a very nice hike suitable for the whole family.
