Trška gora is a place where a partisan hospital was operational in the WW2. Here we will describe the easiest access.

From Slovenj Gradec (directions how to get there are already described here) follow the road in Kope direction. Soon after the road starts to elevate after a few sharp turns you will see a sign pointing to the left. It reads »Partizanske bolnišnice« which means »Partisan hospital«. Now you can leave your car here if you want to walk and if you don't feel like driving on macadam. Just follow the macadam road for about half an hour.

Again you will reach a sign »Partizanske bolnišnice« directing you down left into the forest. The hospital was operational from april 1944 to the end of the war. Approx. 300 partisans were treated here during the fights on Pohorje.
