Strating point is village Ledine. To get here from Ljubljana you have to go to Škofja Loka direction. Once there head on to Gorenja vas. Here drive in the Žiri and Cerkno direction. Go in Žiri direction and turn right when you see a sign for Ledine. Park on one of the parking spaces in front of the village.

At the end of the village follow the right road in Mrzli vrh and Sivka direction. Follow the blazes. When you get to the chapel make a sharp left turn in Sivka direction.

Follow the macadam but only for a few meters. At the big tree you have to find not so visible path that goes over the grassland into the forest. Enter the forest on the left side of the grassland. From now on you only have a couple of minutes to reach the top of Sivka.

To bad there are no views from the top but there's plenty of mushrooms and other forest fruits just waiting to be picked. The whole hike shouldn't take you more than 40 minutes. More than suitable for children.
