Strating point is village Sovodenj. To get here from Ljubljana you have to go to Škofja Loka direction. Once there head on to Gorenja vas. Here drive in the Žiri and Cerkno direction. After you reach village Trebija turn right in the Cerkno direction. Follow the road until you reach Sovodenj and park by the village store.

From the parking space follow the left road and pass the fire brigade house. Few steps forward you will see a restaurant »Okrepčevalnica Košanc«. Pass it and follow the steep road on the right side of the restaurant.

Soon you will reach macadam. After you pass some houses you will find a path that goes right into the forest. Follow the path up to the small settlement where you reach a crossroad. We chose the ridge path. It is a bit steeper than the other one, but far from demanding.

The path goes over the grassland and soon enters the forest. After a few steep parts you will reach the top. The hike up to here shouldn't take you more than hour and a half.
