Robanov kot (Roban's edge / corner) is a neighbour valley to Logarska valley. There are  many ways to reach it (descending from Ojstrica, for example), but here's a description of the »easy« way.

Driving from Luče to Solčava, you will see a sign directing you left to Robanov kot. Drive here for about 3 minutes and you will reach the parking lot. There's a box with donations, it is expected that you will throw a 2 euro coin in it.

From here it’s a nice walk, all the time a bit up, through the woods. Soon you come to a meadow where you can see (and even pet) horses from the nearby barn. There’s a clear sign that dogs must be on a leash. Keep that in mind if you are taking your beloved pet with you. If you are already a bit tired you can sit down here and have a sip of fresh mountain water. Continue on the path and enjoy beautiful views of surrounding hills and mountains; you can see Strelovec, Krofička, Ojstrica, Ute, Molička peč, Križevnik, Raduha… from here. Don’t hurry, take your time and enjoy the landscape.

After an hour or so after you left the car (depends how fast you walk) you will reach the hut. It has a variety of local dishes. If you plan a climb to Ojstrica from here or you just came from it, make sure you have a “masovnik”, pretty greasy, but very energizing and actually quite good tasting dish. Give it a try. The hut has a very nice surrounding, with a swinging bench and a big shady tree. Relax and breathe some fresh air.

As mentioned, this hut is a starting point for Ojstrica, you can also go to Krofička from here. Or you can turn around and be satisfied with a nice walk. Whatever you choose, your time is well spend.
